
Chemoprevention of Prostate Cancer
Second Cambridge Conference - March 2004
This program of leading research and clinical urologists and oncologists working on chemoprevention, and was directed by Dr. Ian Thompson, The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.
The educational objectives were to assess the current status of prostate cancer biomarkers in development; discuss recent clinical results for prostate cancer chemoprevention; assess current approaches to secondary prevention of prostate cancer; and discuss issues and opportunities in developing public health policy and prevention messages for prostate cancer. The program was supported by educational grants from industry. Program management and CME sponsorship were provided by InforMEDical.
