Anti-VEGF: Looking Forward in Lung Cancer

This educational monograph was developed for oncologists and other medical professionals who assess, counsel, and treat lung cancer patients. Program faculty are Thomas J. The educational objectives of the activity are to: discuss why vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) is considered to be an important target in lung cancer biology; assess current efficacy and safety data for bevacizumab, as well as issues and opportunities for its use in treating late-stage non-small cell lung (NSCLC) patients; and assess current efficacy and safety data for leading development-stage anti-VEGF agents in lung cancer treatment. The program was supported by educational grants from industry.  Program management and CME sponsorship were provided by InforMEDical.
