
Prostate Cancer: Beyond First Line Hormones

This educational monograph was developed for urologists and oncologists who assess and treat patients with prostate cancer. The program faculty are Philip W. The educational objectives for the CME activity are to: describe measures for evaluating patients with a rising PSA on first-line hormonal therapy to assess whether they may have metastatic disease and/or require second-line therapy; assess current and near-term therapeutic options for treating patients with hormone refractory disease and list four national clinical trials currently enrolling patients with hormone refractory disease, and list at least one internet site where physicians and patients can find current information on clinical trials.
